BBABA KWEKU NLONGO

Kwaku N. Nlongo, a resident of Burke County, born in Augusta has lived most of his 61 years in the area. Retiring from the Richmond County School System after 30 years of public school teaching, he presently works as the moderator of the “John Henrik Clarke Historical Society” (Afrikan Traditional Culture Study Group). As moderator he conducts book studies and discussions on traditional Afrikan culture and story. He also teaches basic chess classes for children. His purpose is to restore the confidence of self knowledge and good thinking skills to Black people, in traditional Afrikan ways of living and being.
